Any law by the government regarding casteism will not work until and unless people give equal treatments to each and every person around them. Because the law might not be implemented properly if the lawmakers themselves keep believing in discrimination. So all we need to do is to change our mentality regarding casteism instead of wasting time complaining against seat reservation system. Moreover governments should give more focus on subjects like casteism.
Not by making laws but creating awareness among people frequently through various modes about casteism , government can influence and encourage people to end discrimination and bring equality. Coming now to SC reservation, it is true that SCs are looked down upon by many upper caste people and even by many OBCs and discriminated against, yet I am against any reservations for them for admissions in educational institutions or jobs. However, special facilities and help should be given to poor children of all castes even upper castes or religions, to ensure them a level playing field. For instance, the child of poor parents may not have the money to buy school textbooks.
But with passage of time this caste system has become hollow and fragile. Something which was made for social grouping has turned to social divide with all groups developing hatred for each other.
