I mean.. Even though her acting was very good in Chandni, Sridevi disappointed me when she sang the title song. Her voice is very annoying in that song. Madhuri beats Sridevi any day.

I thought you'd give some credit to Salman Khan, so you're not "fan"atic enough :- To me, that movie seemed like a wedding video, no more, no less. I watched it on video and the print was bad, like most wedding videos :- That could be one reason why I didn't like it, maybe. Its playing in a theatre nearby, I might just watch it to see how it is on big screen.

I just got back from seeing HAHK again. Its a movie that has to be seen on the big screen. I saw the pirated version and it really is horrible. This movie can only be enjoyed on the big screen or at least with a good video: As for giving Salman credit.. I just said the director deserves most of it not all of it. Really this movie can lift up the spirits.. I'll just leave that unsaid: Meenakshi.

I have a feeling I am going to think the same thing. Not intending to sway your opinion of Sholay before you actually watch it, I would recommend just enjoying the flow of the movie itself. The big deal about Sholay is that it was fabulous cinema.

It is influenced by everything from spaghetti westerns to Kurosawa films, but is not a complete copy of anything. Performances from everyone was just too good.. Enjoy Manzoor.
