To get the rainbow island you would have needed to expand to the first 5 islands. In order to start buying land on rainbow island you need to expand the desert island completely meaning buy every patch of land hope this helps. Going off on a tangent: So, the way I structured my Islands is that whatever a Dragon's best element is for gold production, that'll be where it's placed. Relentless's best Habitat was Metal. The Rainbow Habitat beats out all 3 of those combined in my eyes, so that's their new home.

Mine started out that way but with so many dragons it is hard to keep to it. I just try to put them in the highest earning element that is available at the time I obtain them. If any of those are needed for breeding or whatever they sit in a kindergarten until they go back into retirement. One can hope for luck to come their way. If not, I'll probably just save up my gems for upgrading the habitat.

This might help. I got almost 7, from Runner Island. I think gemming it is cheaper, but I wanted the other rewards in RI. I have a level 6 habitat. It has 19 dragons in it and has one flame and one dark crystal next to it. I am holding the 20th place for High Frozen which I can't move until it's current habitat finishes upgrading. Other than adding High Frozen , I will be changing out some of the current inhabitants for higher earners. I may put the flame crystal back where I had it since it fills so quickly that I don't think I need crystals helping it out unless it helps enough other habitats.

Ok you have me confused. But this one did tempt for a minute or two or five Uh thanks but NO. I won't buy those tokens for one level let alone for two. Not to mention the cost of the hab to house 15 to 25 dragons when I already have 25 open slots in the dragonarium?
